FOUNDER STORY
For many years, Rachel James was a student. She studied art, beauty, fashion + life. At the conclusion of her formal education, she embarked upon a journey to apply her life’s lessons with the creation of her brand, Pear Nova. After noticing a void in the representation of medium to dark skin tones in the nail world, she committed to not only bridging the gap but also celebrating that space. Since Pear Nova’s first launch in 2012, Ms. James has created classic + gel palettes inspired by some of her greatest teachers: sights of the world, sounds of her children + strength of female pioneers everywhere. “Pear Nova’s journey is far from complete, and I am learning to enjoy every step.”Â
